Biography

Sylvia is an emerging artist who grew up between central Alberta and the Interior of British Columbia. In 2015, Sylvia earned a Fine Art Diploma from MacEwan University and was recognized by the Dean's list. She moved to Halifax in 2016, completing her BFA from NSCAD University in 2019. Sylvia was one of five Halifax Ladies' College Alumni Society Scholarship Recipients in 2021 and completed the Anna Leonowens' Gallery Certificate in Gallery and Studio Management. Sylvia is currently navigating her journey as an emerging artist. Her work can be found in private and public collections across the country. Sylvia lives and works from her home studio which is located in Kjipuktuk (Halifax).
